My first post

I never thought about posting before but now it is fun!

Offset print is also called long-run print or is referred to as a print press. This type of print requires more effort and cost to start up the machine and makes sense for larger run projects. The production press person must create plates (like a stamp) for each artwork image. Just to create plates can cost anywhere from $250 to $500. Hence, this type of run makes sense for very large runs because turning the machine on and getting ready for the project is a cost in itself. It makes sense to use offset print for 10,000 brochures or 1000 magazines, for example.
